Presentations for this workshop are solicited from the community on new research and applications, in any stage of completion, that address the use of requirements for climate information, especially predictions for decision-makers. Other papers of interest include those that explore:

  • the use and impacts of climate predictions,
  • communicating climate information through extension and outreach efforts,
  • socio-economic benefits of climate predictions,
  • products and tools,
  • downscaling climate predictions,
  • exemplars of interdisciplinary research, and
  • other related topics.

The deadline for abstracts is Friday December 19, 2008. Abstracts accepted for presentation will be posted on this website without modification. Abstracts must be 400 words or fewer with no graphics. Please submit your abstract electronically using the form to the right.

Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by February 1, 2009. There are a limited number of presentation time slots, so not all submitted abstracts will be accepted as oral presentations. Please consider presenting a poster if we cannot accommodate your preference for an oral presentation.
