Climate of Oklahoma
OCS archives statewide weather data from a host of networks,
including the National Weather Service cooperative observer
network and the Oklahoma Mesonet. These data are used to
make the climatological products herein. Select from our
normals and extremes, rainfall update, or monthly summaries.

Public Mesonet Products
These pages exist for public safety, to provide general information,
and to promote the real-time nature of the Mesonet. Only
the most recent products are provided and they exist only
in image
format. No “raw data” are included on these pages.

NWS Products
The National Weather Service (NWS) is an agency of the National
Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The NWS is responsible
for forecasts and warnings for weather events that threaten
life or property, such as floods, tornadoes, severe thunderstorms,
and winter weather.

Drought 2001-02
This web page provides historical context to current precipitation
patterns. Tables and maps provide an overview on scales
ranging from the past 30 days to the past year. The statistics
are updated daily and are based on data from the Oklahoma
Mesonet and the National Weather Service Cooperative Observers.
In addition, links to other Oklahoma drought information
are provided.
