Math Academy slots still available
This year's Math Academy will be held on June 28-30, 2011, at the National Center for Employee Development (NCED) Conference Center & Hotel, 2801 East State Highway 9, in Norman, Oklahoma. We are excited to announce that Math Solutions founded by Marilyn Burns, a Division of Scholastic Inc., will be providing professional development at the Math Academy this year. This training, valued at nearly $500 per person will be offered at no cost to Oklahoma teachers through the Math Academy.
Participants will also receive a copy of a book published through Math Solutions.
If you live 65 miles or more away from Norman, you qualify for lodging paid by OSDE. There are only 50 rooms available and they will be reserved on first come first served basis. In order to qualify for the paid lodging you will need to be currently employed by a District.
For more information, and Hotel room reservation contact Sanja Cook by phone at 405-521-3361, or email Sanja_Cook@sde.state.ok.us .
