Today marks a new chapter for OK-First as we unveil a fresh, new website for our public safety partners participating in the OK-First program! The new website is now integrated into www.mesonet.org and is available by clicking "Public Safety" at the top.
The website features several new features including a personal sign in system and the new Learning Center. From the Learning Center you can enroll in OK-First courses, take online OK-First classes (asynchronous format), and view content from OK-First courses you have taken (2014 and beyond).
If you are new to OK-First we encourage you to visit the About OK-First section to learn more about the program and see if your agency might be eligible to particate in the program. Note that this program is exclusively for agencies with jurisdictional responsibility in maintaining public safety and is not open to the public.
Later this year (anticipated - summer 2014) we will be launching the final phase of this website update - the new OK-First Weather Briefing page. From this page OK-First account holders will have access to a customizable, multi-screen environment for viewing weather data.
Again, welcome to the new site and stay tuned for the remaining pieces as they are unveiled a bit later this year!
